Artist/friend Elenor, sent some photos and said "After raining 2 days and nights the sun came out in the afternoon
and we could go for a walk.
What is so nice in this hilly region is
that you can see the Alps so often. I love this view, it gives me the
feeling of peace.
Thank you, Elenor for our walk in Austria.

The amazing brain
Have
you ever heard of "mindwriting?" It's a term used by scientists for a
very specific skill that could spell hope for millions of people who
have lost mobility or the ability to communicate. A man paralyzed from the neck down for almost a decade recently completed an amazing feat of "mindwriting,"
and used his brain to compose whole sentences in real-time.
Scientists implanted two tiny sensors into his brain, and then asked him to imagine holding a pen and paper and then try to write. As he visualized it, an algorithm then decoded the motion for each letter, translating it into text which appeared on a computer screen. Eventually, he was able to communicate at the same rate, or faster, than someone texting.
The
innovation could one day allow people with paralysis to rapidly type
without using their hands, and researchers are hoping it will only take a
few years to become widely available. Eventually art?
• A cute 8-minute video, Corgis, here.

Thanks for showing my pics, Jacki! I hope your readers are not yet tired of seeing photos from Austria.
Spring is probably the loveliest season of the year. Nature in this fresh and light green and so many wild flowers, everything is young and new and everybody is hoping for a good year.
We get our 2nd shot this week. I hope some things will be easier then.
Have a good week ahead.
Will you be allowed to drive your car next week?
Thank you, Elenor,
Readers enjoy your peaceful photos, they are refreshing.
Yes I am allowed to drive tomorrow, can't wait!!
I love the green tones for the face. It reminds me of the witch in Wicked. :-)
Yes, I agree, John. The whole thing was an experiment, seeing what I could add without limits. Thanks for your kind words.
