Today was Eastside. Six of us met at Erin's clubhouse.
We were missing Norma, to make us complete.
Josie taught us to create bowl shapes using Rigid Wrap.
We each blew up a balloon, then added strips, like a cast.

Dipping plaster strips into water, then massaging onto
a balloon was a new experience for some of us.
Jody used a flower pot instead of a balloon,
adding detail before applying plaster strips.
Josie taught methods of finishing these shapes once dry.
For now, they are works in progress.

A special thanks to Josie for this project,
and to Erin for her hospitality.
Norma & Bob, please feel better soon.

OK. You are the queen of portrait caricature. You have such a flair with the eyes, glasses, nose, mouth. Oh my! Love this so much! :-)
