I was lucky to be invited to lunch Saturday at
It's the too popular fun eatery, (6:30 - 4pm) the one with the long lines outside. They don't take reservations, so an hour wait is common. We waited almost that long to be seated but we filled it with conversation, and a lot of laughs.
Once inside and seated, we got the huge menu which took five of us longer to choose than you would think. One of us got sweet potato hash with a poached egg on top (looked delicious!) One got OMG French toast, a decadent looking plate with bacon. Two got great strawberry pancakes which were also from the decadent category. And, one got Havana Daydream with free-range house pork, shaved ham, Swiss cheese, homemade pickles and a egg.
Mei organized this group which she calls OC Ladies. We were missing Siobhan and Kimiko. We stayed until they closed, we were the last ones out. The best Saturday lunch in a long time.
