William Kentridge: In Praise of Shadows

William Kentridge still from Kaboom

Image credit: William Kentridge, Kaboom!, 2017-18. Three-channel HD film installation: model stage, paper props, found objects, and three mini-projectors with stands. Jorge M. Pérez Collection, Miami.

This is your last opportunity to see William Kentridge: In Praise of Shadows before it closes this Sunday, April 9!

Each gallery will capture your imagination through film, sculpture, theater, opera, and installation, including early works rarely or never seen in the United States, as well as works such as his 30-minute five-channel video installation, The Refusal of Time (2012).

Paid tickets to William Kentridge: In Praise of Shadows also include access to the museum collection galleries, including a newly installed gallery of works by Kenny Scharf and David Wojnarowicz alongside a large-scale work by Keith Haring.

Still at it!

I am still busy on taxes and trying hard not to get distracted, and failing a lot!
Here's a cool picture. Enjoy.

A rare optic sight, the "Brocken spectre," which occurs when a person stands at a higher altitude in the mountains and sees his shadow cast on a cloud at a lower altitude.  David Attenborough

I love the use of trees to border the dreaminess of this piece. :-)
