Another year has rolled around, and some celebrating has begun. I liked 80, and I will surely enjoy 81.

Jordan, aka GH#1 texted me yesterday, always a delight.  He showed up today looking so handsome with a great new haircut and carrying a beautiful white orchid plant.

If I look like I am standing in hole, it's because I have shrunk to 5'3" and this sweet guy is 6'6"!

The plan was for WonderWoman to drive in from Nevada today and stay till Monday morning. But she called yesterday sounding like Barry White, and in my best motherly voice I told her to stay home and fight the sinus infection and rest.

There are plans for brunch and later dinner tomorrow.

First, happy birthday. I think you and Brian might have the same day, December 10? Second, you made me chuckle with all the unusual Christmas trees. Thanks for that. Third, you hit the mark again with this piece today. So glad I know you. :-)
