A Camera Doesn’t Lie...
In the 1970s and 1980s, Chris Porsz spent hours walking around Peterborough, a city in eastern England, snapping photos of the everyday passerby. Now, several decades later, he tracked down his former subjects to recreate the pictures he took so long ago.
Porsz’s update was not just a reuniting of subjects and photographer,
but often, a reunion for the people who appeared in the photos—some had
not seen each other for decades. Reflecting on this, Porsz told Daily Mail,
“It has been enormously satisfying to do so many reunions and seeing
the smiles on people's faces as they met up with old friends again. I've
felt very privileged.”

I am always partial to pops of red. In this piece I am partial to pops of turquoise. Tres chic! :-)
Wow, again such a terrific junk mail collage! Wonderful.
Your photo story also was great. Nice to see that people didn't change so much, all of them looking good. The 1970s and 1980s were interesting and exciting times, don't you think?
Thanks, John. I like it when you like it. ;o)
Thank you, Elenor. Yes, I agree it's fun to look back. You will see me looking back in tomorrow's blog.
The Look Back was amazing for the fact that the photographer was able to bring the same people back together again. WOW
Thanks Jane, I am so glad you liked it too, I thought it was amazing. Wishing you happy holidays and please take good care.
