Day 3 at the house on the hill.
Up at 8 am to find a gorgeous blue sky with
just a trace slicer of the moon, barely visible.
The morning breeze was cool, so
we three stayed in the sun until we warmed up.
Then we moved to the shaded couch once we had warmed up.
It takes us a while to get our spaces, and my book and throw.
I started the third book and it's terrific as well.
This evening I drove to Costa Mesa to visit a dear friend.
A stellar parent and human being, friends for almost 40 years.
His family shares his love & strength and I was blessed to be there.
I go home sometime on Sunday, it's been lovely to be here.

Turning your piece upside down which is right side up for the piece works so well. Glad you had a nice”vacation” on the hill. :-)
Thanks, John, I do have this thing about having text sideways or upside down, to use it as design, and not distract by reading. Weird?
