September 15th is Demura Sensei's birthday.
Happy Birthday to my Sensei of 49-3/4 years.
He has great patience with so many of us.
A wonderful down-to-earth super star in Karate and the world of Martial Arts, and in our life and in our hearts.
Demura Sensei has a terrific sense of humor, great strength and kindness that inspires everyone he meets. If you don't know him, you really should.

While I know Sensei was our head and you considered yourself more "senpai" out of respect for our leader, I've always considered you my sensei, and for things both in and outside of karate, you've been my teacher and 2nd mom for many life lessons.
What a beautiful and touching tribute to a great karate-ka and Sensei! Thank you.
Thank you Kevin, I have only wonderful memories of you and especially your first day in class.You know so many would have had another reaction to such a strange first class, but I knew you were special and would treasure it as you have. It was wonderful seeing you and Natra yesterday. I felt we were all blessed to celebrate with Demura Sensei. Thank you for your kind words, Kevin.
