The 9/11 Memorial "Tear Drop" sit's directly across from NYC, in Bayonne New Jersey, just the other side of the Statue of Liberty, yet we hear nothing about it. This absolutely beautiful, 100 ft. tall monument was gifted to the people of the United States by the people of Russia in 2006, in memory of all those who lost their lives on that fateful day, September 11, 2001.
The breaking in the cracked facade forms the shape of the two towers. The giant suspended tear drop signifies the tears of the entire world that day.

US Open: Emma Raducanu beats Leylah Fernandez to win maiden Grand Slam. Two teenagers.

The 18-year-old ended her scarcely believable run in New York with a 6-4 6-3 win over 19-year-old Canadian, Layla Fernandez,  in a high-quality final.

If you missed it you missed a really good match.
Both teenagers were unseeded and beat all the higher ranking women to end up facing eachother.

A 2+ minute game video, here.

"We need much less than we think we nee." How true is this and how hard to accomplish. And when you already have so many things you had wanted so much it's hard to get rid of them. Too many memories or simply laziness?
The colors in "Palm Desert" are excellent!
Jacki, I hope you had a nice Sunday.
