Update:
Monday
morning there was just a dusting of rain. A drop in the bucket some
might say compared to what this state of kindling needs. The land
gobbled up this moisture, greedy for more. It does remind us of what
rain was like. We're desperate here in California. Cloud seeding, rain
dances and prayers all gladly accepted.

What a good idea to show the pics of the winners. Can you imagine Austria won a bronze medal today! And top of that he practices in my home town. Shame on me, I never heard his name before.
The last 4 days we had heavy rains in the evening and night - including much damage in some parts of the country. So you don't know what is better: no rain or too much rain. Both a disaster.
Your photography is really beautiful.
Thanks, Elenor! Yes, but you also had a young lady winning a gold medal earlier. I have watched so much of the Olympics, you would think I should have lost some weight by now. The rain photos are mine, but the Olympics are screen captures.
I love photographs of raindrops. :-)
Thanks, John! They are pretty rare down here. Send some down?
