Step by Step ...
A 4x6" postcard on heavy watercolor paper.
step 1 & 2 |
I forgot to shoot the original ink brush drawing (step 1),
I used a soluble ink brush & it bleeds into watercolor (step 2).
Sometime it's a great effect, sometime not.
step 3 |
It's looking kinda sad at this point, and this happen a lot.
But sometimes, collage can save it to some extent.
step 4 |
Junk mail to the rescue.
• A awesome 4-minute video, tree hotel here.
Just because ...
Smiles for Thursday ...
Thanks for coming by today.

How lovely to see another step by step, Jacki! The expression on the face of Charmaine is wonderful. The bit of junk mail adds perfectly. It would be nice to meet her in person.
Thanks Elenor, she does seem likable I think. I am staying with my granddogs, I will try to catch the sunset tonight. Have a great Friday.
I just love how you give personality to your portraits. You have a knack for it. Just great! :-)
Thanks so much, John, you are so kind.
