Day 2948: California

This is not a topic I would have ever expected to use in a blog.
Never. But I knew it might be funny and that was my goal.
In yesterday's blog, here, I mentioned toes.
I love to get feedback, so when I got an email,
about my toes, I had to answer, right?
Gee, your toes are long, aren't they?

I had heard that if your second toe is longer than your
big toe, it means that you are bossy? Have you heard that?
My friend, Ann said she had heard intelligent, not bossy.
I like her version better. Either way, my third toe is longer
than my big toe, whatever that means?
It was good for pointed-toe shoes back in the day.

Then, there are my salt& pepper shaker toes.
Can you see them? I broke my fourth toe years ago.
Doctors don't do anything for toes, except say, "Ice it."
I did ice it, but it dropped under my foot when I walked!
So I taped it to my middle toe, and they bonded.
They fit together like a salt & pepper shaker.
Now you know more about my toes than anyone,
except Grandhunk #1, he got the story yesterday.

When I look at a piece of art I look to see what draws me in. The yellow did this time. I also look at the title. I try to figure out how the title was arrived at. At first I did not know and then I figured it out. I make up narratives and I first thought perhaps you, Jacki, were making a statement about the heat that California has been having or the warmth of the fires. Then I saw a part of the word, California. You are always part of my morning. Thanks for creating and sharing. :-)

Thanks, John. I title randomly, usually, if I see a word in the text I go that way, but sometimes I go with how it makes me feel?

Have a beautiful Sunday, dear Jacki!

Thanks Jacki for always having an upbeat post: great art, humor, videos we can follow the instructor right along. I particularly liked being able to follow all those slow moves in the first dance and then the tumbles in the second. Great way to spend a day where it's only 85 degrees in my house. Why doing those last two warmed me right up!

Thanks so much, Elenor!
I always love to hear from you and hope you and your family are well? What is your climate across the globe? We are in a two week, so far, heatwave.
For me, it drains my energy and goals. But it can't stay forever, I hope.
