Day 2935: Another Saturday like a Sunday!

"distinct style": junk mail collage.

I've been playing in two unfinished journals.
Off and on, I need to head there when I am in pandemic limbo.

I decided to post a few pages, pretty messy but fun?

One journal has irregular size pages of all kinds of papers.

Old photos, junk mail, drawing ... anything goes.

Lots of empty pages, room to play.

I rarely so journal spreads, but work one page at a time.

The puffy people are still on my mind. In different body positions.

A good place for sayings that I want to keep.

I am really fond of the china marker drawing above.

Some pages have acrylic and or gesso where I clean my brushes.

Someone asked what I was up to, so I have answered.
I aim to please. ;o)

Giraffes are sort of improbable creatures, aren't they?
They are almost too strange to be real, too mythic to share a world with us. Forrest the giraffe may be the most improbable of them all — he stands at a staggering 18 feet, 8 inches. He’s so tall that he recently claimed the Guinness World Record for his height.
They're the tallest species alive, but Forrest is even taller than the average giraffe — they usually don’t surpass 18 feet.
The 12-year-old Forrest has flirted with fame before — he lives at the Australia Zoo, the workplace of Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin. She told Guinness World Records she’s "proud of our towering guy, he has such a wonderful heart." Congratulations, Forrest, on your stature. May you celebrate with all the acacia leaves you can stomach. More, here.

I love when you use oranges in your pieces. It seems to be a very comfortable color for you. :-)

Thanks, John, it is my favorite. I think it is a happy color. my Uncle Les said when you wear orange you make people happy. I don't wear it, but I do like it.
