Friday night was puppy-sitting at the house on the hill.
I arrived at 6 pm to let Zoey out of her kennel.
She exploded with her usual high voltage energy.
She turned one this month, but no sign of calm in sight.
Testified by five shredded dog beds.

We went through an assortment of her toys ...
look at that dexterity!

and this was after about an hour of tug a war.
I have to use two hands now to match her,
and soon that won't be enough?

Doesn't Laker (now 8) look like he's remembering his youth?

I sat on the carpet to play with her,
and she cuddles sometimes between play.

By 9 pm I had two tired boxers.
And one tired Grandma.

I found old photos of an earlier face collage.
"Ginger" is on top of a failed canvas,
so I gesso'd and started over.

Not a step-by-step, but this was at about half way ...

Gesso, acrylic, junk mail collage and marker on canvas.

Thanks so much for visiting.
Wishing you a lovely weekend,

A smile for Saturday ...
