An especially lovely Saturday, it seemed like a Sunday.
We went to Eastside Church for the 5:30pm Easter service.

All three Grandhunks were off work by then and able to attend,
and all three have to work brunch tomorrow, on Easter.
We six were joined by Hoda and Mike, Superman's parents
and Tarek, Superman's older brother.
So blessed to celebrate Easter together as a family.
Nine of us, almost filled the whole row.
After, we ate at Rodrigo's in Anaheim Hills.
I sat next to WonderWoman, who ordered a quesadilla.
After, she said she had intended to eat just half, but forgot.
This brought back memories of today's Dad story.

At 83 when Dad was living with our family of three, he went for a medical check-up.
The doctor was pleased, except he told Dad
he would like him to lose 20 pounds.
He told the doctor that he liked to eat and
didn't like diets. His doctor said,
you can eat whatever you want,
but just eat half.

So Dad ate whatever I cooked , but he
did eat only half. And it worked! He lost
20 pounds and we three stayed the same.

A smile for Sunday ...
