Twin sisters are valedictorian & salutatorian @ high school

Twin sisters Gloria Guerrier and Victoria Guerrier, valedictorian & salutatorian, Class of 2023 at W. Hempstead Secondary School.

“It’s like the saying, ‘How iron sharp-ens iron,’” said Gloria. “We really use each other to improve upon ourselves. I think that level of competition between us was what really helped us.” Even outside of the classroom, Gloria and Victoria are three-sport varsity athletes, and they have both earned All-County and All-State honors for track.

 
 Both Guerrier sisters will be attending Yale University in the fall, they said, with plans to study computer science. The competition, then, is only just beginning

 

 

I love old photos where you can catch a moment and remember being there. I can and do spend a lot of time with photos of all kinds. In about 2004, the three little grandhunks took golf at the local club. One day the whole family and I went so the kids could practice on the driving range. I took this of Lil'GH#3, so serious.

 Eventually, the parents had to hit. WonderWoman hit it almost out of sight. The golf pro came jogging over and asked her if she was interested in golf? She replied, "No, I just like to hit things."

 Now WW & SM play golf regularly, and sometimes all five.
