2GN2S ...
Would you, could you ever??
Darren Harrison, who landed an entire plane despite never having flown one before. Yes, Harrison has been around a lot of aviation and has seen other pilots fly, but it's not the same thing!
Harrison took the controls after the pilot flying the single-engine Cessna 208 had a medical emergency.
Among his first words to Air Traffic Controller Robert Morgan? "I have
no idea how to fly the airplane." Great! Together, the two men managed
to get the plane, headed from the Bahamas, safely on the ground at Palm
Beach International airport. Harrison and Morgan had a deeply relieved
reunion at the airport, as other pilots and airport workers expressed
their awe."It was an emotional moment. He said that he just wanted to
get home to his pregnant wife," Morgan said. "And that felt even
better."
Update ...
Saturday I was up early to go to our honbu dojo to help with kyu testing. While there I got to hug some former students. One in particular was Hanna, my student from age 6, until I retired.

Oh, you captured the emotion of grief so well. There is so much pain in this face.
Thank you, John.Ukraine has had so much pain.
Such a great blog, Jacki, difficult to tell what I loved most.
I also learned during the years that the only thing that matters about people is how kind they are. If we had more of those kind people conflicts as right now wouldn't exist, would they? And then there wouldn't be so much grief.
Thanks, Elenor. Yes I agree, and less judgement, if we judged other less we would automatically be more kind?
