Things are about to get ARTrageous! The Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach, producer of the iconic Pageant of the Masters, is pleased to announce the non-profit’s first-ever virtual gala event: Simply ARTrageous: Live the Legacy tonight Saturday, December 5th at 6:30 PM PST. The star-studded virtual spectacular will be hosted by musician, composer and producer Tony Guerrero and actor, comedian and writer Dave Foley. The event is free to attend and sponsored by Stephen R. Davy Violins, The Ritz-Carlton of Laguna Niguel, Partners Bank of California and Yamaha.
Anticipated to be the most ARTrageous celebration of the
season, the virtual gala promises an evening of fun, laughter and
nostalgia. Many surprises are planned for the evening including
appearances by celebrity guests Bryan Cranston, Kate Flannery, Joe
Mantegna, and Jane Lynch. Guests will enjoy musical performances by The
Salty Suites, Melissa Manchester, Laura Dickinson, Starr Parodi and Jeff
Eden Fair. Proceeds from the digital event will help support the Festival of
Arts and Pageant of the Masters and, in turn, local artists and the arts
community. To donate, join the Pageant Legacy Society or learn more about the event visit foapom.com/virtual-gala. RSVPs are recommended, but not required.
Update ...
Sometimes technology blows me away. I was sitting here, answering an e-mail when explore.org let me know there is Big Wave Surfing on a Friday Night at Pipeline Beach. Hawaii! And with the sound of the pounding waves, it is mesmerizing watching who catches what wave.

The Flock takes me back to trips to the UK and Ireland. Sheep are everywhere in the countryside. One day while driving in western Ireland I saw a crow standing on the back of a sheep. There was no place to stop to take a photo so it is etched in my brain. :-). Thanks for bringing back a memory.
Loved the pups. Can you imagine taking care of all that hair. No, neither you nor I could. But I am thinking about getting a pup or at least a dog. Hmm.
Thanks, John. This is an old photo from the farm in Indiana, and I love how the sheep are studying the viewer.
Thanks, Carrol! Nothing much cuter than a puppy. Zoey is still a puppy at 3! A puppy Diva! She is not low maintenance.
Your "Just because..."is always a treat. I love all the photos you find.
I hope the fires are not still threatening you. Have a wonderful Sunday, dear Jacki!
Thank you so much dear Elenor, you are so kind. Where I am is safe, but the fire is not out, so others are still in danger. We don't get much rain, so when the winds blow so furiously, the dry areas are an easy target. We are so thankful for our brave firemen, but I hate to see them in danger. I am wishing you and your family to be safe and healthy in this uncertain world.
