Saturday started with a text from Grandhunk #2 ...
Sure enough, before noon there was a knock on my door and I opened to find four Grandhunks. Chris is an honorary Grandhunk
and I wouldn't give that term to anyone else, he's a sweetie.
They brought five lunches and 5 sweet teas or lemonades!
GH#3 in chair, GH#1, Gh#2 and GH#4. |
GH#3 loves my chair, he & WW debate over who will get it.
GH#3 and GH1 helped me with some techie stuff in the studio.
Lucky to have them during their busy day,
They were off to play basketball on a park court.
Thank you Grandhunks,
I think of them again with every sip of sweet tea.

The Beauty Of Painted Stairs
Around The World
Abandoning the flat canvas of buildings, some street artists
take to the stairs, transforming them into magnificent works
of urban
art. t doesn't matter
whether its with paint, plants,
mosaics or wallpapers the
the end goal is beauty, shared and
enjoyed by all. This phenomenon is not
a localized
one and is happening all around the world.
These are 20 of the world's most stunning stairs:
Ottawa, Canada
Philadelphia, USA
Morlaix, France
Targu Mures, Romania
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Sicily, Italy

Berlin, Germany
Tokyo, Japan
London, England

I love your photograph of Raising Cane’s because it has your art in the photo. Just perfect! I also love the stairs images. Pretty amazing! :-)
Thanks, John. Have a great weekend, but then it's all weekend anymore, right?
Wow, your grandsons are always so considerate!
I really enjoyed the compilation of stairs. It makes me want to find a long staircase!
I pulled up a sign off of Pinterest and this is where it led me! I just had to comment on your grandhunks! That is just about the nicest thing I've heard this week. What fine, young men their parents raised. I am so proud of them for doing that for you! Please tell them they warmed a retired teacher's heart and made God smile!
I love your art too!
