Tuesday was good friend & artist, Ann's birthday, 

so that meant a birthday breakfast at Flappy Jack's!

 

A very popular breakfast & lunch restaurant open 6 -3pm.

Almost always a line, we met at 9 were seated and we ordered.

Birthday girl ordered ...

FRENCH TOAST COMBO We use the finest Texas bread dipped in our own egg batter.  
Served with two large eggs and two bacon strips or sausage links.  Dusted with cinnamon sugar.

I ordered the decadent ...

STUFFED FRENCH TOAST: 

Delicately blended sweet cheese with a touch of real vanilla stuffed into our egg battered bread logs, topped with cinnamon sugar and your choice of fruit compote.  A new twist for French toast.

I had mentioned that it was Ann's birthday when we ordered, 

so at the end of the meal, we were surprised.

Also Tuesday morning, I got a text from WonderWoman.

"Got some fatousch for you in the 
garage frig😍

On my way home, I stopped by the house on the hill 

and picked up the Lebanese Fattoush Salad. 

WonderWoman has been learning some of Superman's Mom, 

Hoda's Lebanese recipes.  Supeman is a great cook too.

Fattousch is my favorite.
