Can I ask a favor?
I know so many are hurting and facing desperate times. Mark is one.
I am asking that you might pray to whomever you pray to, for the hardest working man I have ever known. He has spent a year with cancer and came home clear, only to catch Covid and be in the hospital fighting for his life. Today is an especially hard day. I believe in prayer and the goodwill of people like you. He is Mark Martinez, a husband, father, grandfather, black belt, retired from Costa Mesa School District, loved by so many, and a good, good man. We need good men like Mark.

Loved the graphic. I am going to send your email a watercolor that your piece reminded me of. (Poor English, I know.) I can't put it here because it was painted by someone else, and I don't even know that person's name. But I also really like it and they are similar.
All the videos were wonderful. We can learn a lot by listening to those little people: under 10 I suppose, but I may change the age as my grands get older.
Let's hope for lots of good news in the upcoming week. I think most of us could use some.

We have been living in lockdown since December 26th and it will not end before February 8th - and that's not for sure. These are hard times especially for those having to fight covid. Jacki, please take care and stay safe.

Thank you, Elenor. The lockdown is tedious but better than Covid. Are you having the vaccine yet? I have friends who have had it, but it is still mainly for front line workers. I will eventually. In the meantime, I am home.
Thanks, Brandon! Yes indeed, Mark is a great man. SO kind and helps so many in many ways. He has been through so much in the last year and a half, cancer, a successful bone marrow transplant, and then this. Thank you for your prayers, please continue?
