Today was a meeting with the bride and her mother as we finalized plans for the 10/10/2020 wedding.
Looking at the bride as she sat at her laptop, in a t-shirt no makeup, I had to mention more than once just how beautiful she is. You're a lucky man, Jake!
Today I mailed the final 25 "pandemic series" postcards.
It started with a fascination with my pandemic postcard series.
A long time ago, Valerie and I went to the Fullerton Library book
sale. A delightful day rummaging through book we didn't need
as well as potential collage papers. We both left with a grocery bag.
One
of the things I bought was 2 -50c packages of yellowing book size
pages of illustrations. The paper is so old that it nearly crumbles in
our hands. I am fond of tearing, and these pages tear with their own
path making wonderful shaped for collage,
I used postcard-size beige-ish stock as a base, and the two are married into pandemic series postcard.
I usually add a lot, but these pieces were so pristine,
I listened and left them alone.
The photos on the postcard series have nothing to do with the pandemic, but the series was created during the pandemic, thus the name. Today's mailings are bound for Austria, Florida, Colorado,
New Mexico, Nevada, Indiana and all over California.

Really love EVERTHING you posted in this blog!
Happy Sunday, dear Jacki!
Thanks, John. It was a busy day yesterday, and it seems I need a restful day in between?
Puffy people rock! :-). I love the one about the mask going over the nose. I have seen many people out there who fail in that department.
Thanks, John. Yes, there seem to be many masked-challenged? ;o)
