Day 2977: Moodier than usual.

As a teenager, eons ago, I was quite moody.
Eventually, over the years, I became less and less.
Since yesterday, and the news of Ruth Bader Ginsburg's passing,
I have been moodier than usual

A blog I follow, said "sharp-witted women who are walking ahead of me on the path" as a title to her blog today. I immediately thought of
Supreme Court, Justice Ginsburg, aka RBG. That aka always seemed
disrespectful to use, but I read that she loved it and the parodies.

My feelings go beyond politics, but the loss one feels when losing a wise friend, protector or relative. A class career that will be hard to follow. I read a wonderful tribute, here, that includes a good video.

At 11:38 Friday night, we had a 4.6 earthquake centered               just 20 miles from here, a strangely fitting marker.

Burnt Basque Cheesecake

The signature burnt Basque cheesecake from Uprising O.C. is a rebellious take on the traditional cheesecake—baked at a higher heat and for a much shorter time. This yields a characteristic caramelized surface and a light, smooth texture you’ll crave for days. Order a whole cake for $50 (feeds eight to 16) and expect a personal delivery by chef Joshua Lozano.

A smile for Sunday ...

Jacki,

I agree with everything that Betty said. BTW: Hi Betty, I remember you from one of Jacki's fun classes.

I loved the graphic of Ruth and I loved your artwork. It was different for you but still wonderful.

Also, if a person orders that cake, do they have to wait until they can invite 16 people over? Or can they just eat it all by themselves? Asking for a friend.

Carrol

Thank you, Betty, it is so good to hear from you. I hope you, Tom, and Paul are all well and safe, please take good care.

Thanks, Carrol, I thought of you when I posted that cake, for when you throw a party to celebrate the close of escrow. Tell your friend, it would be just a bit much for one person. ;o)

You honor RGB amazingly. What a tribute piece! She was an amazing person. She was America’s conscience. She is already missed.

Thank you, John, it is taken from my favorite photo of her walking down the steps from the Supreme Court. she was so tine, alone, and amazingly strong.
What a loss, and par for 2020.

Hi again, John!

Of course, I meant tiny! I am in such a hurry to post I often forget to proof until it is too late?
