Photographers for ocean conservation

Look at that!
A group of 100 renowned nature photographers has come together for a new project to protect the beauty of the world's oceans. 100 for the Ocean was set up by photographers Paul Nicklen, Cristina Mittermeier and Chase Teron, who believe art has the ability to "bring the world together and give voice to the creatures who depend on the ocean for survival." The group is selling limited-edition prints of stunning natural images, like this emperor penguin launching itself out of Antarctica's icy waters. The prints start at $100, and the sale runs through May. Nicklen hopes the effort will raise around $1 million. Net proceeds go to SeaLegacy Canada Foundation, which will use the money to expand its own conservation efforts and support other ocean-focused organizations through media connections and documentary storytelling opportunities.

Friday, on the way home, I stopped at ...

Banh Mi & Banh Cuon,  14081 Newport Ave,cTustin, CA 92780, (714) 731-1366

 Mon-Sat 5am - 7:30pm    Sun 7am - 4pm

I got my usual, #16

Most of my friends don't like spam, and that's putting it mildly. They wont even try? It's a sandwich of fresh baked bread when I order, then they scramble eggs and grill the thin piece of Spam, then fresh carrots, radish, cilantro, cucumber wedge, jalapeno,
two different liquids and the result is ...

It is large, so I are half for lunch, and a quarter for dinner and the rest disappeared at breakfast. What a deal! My friends are missing out?

I never have had a Vietnamese meal in my life. In my small town we don't have Vietnamese restaurants. What you tell sounds quite interesting and should be worth a try.
Have a good new week, Jacki!
