Historic Floral Park Holiday Tour
Tour four beautiful Floral Park estate homes on Saturday, November 13 from 10 am. to 5:30 p.m. during the Historic Floral Park Holiday Tour. Each historic home is decorated for the season.
You can also shop gifts and home goods at the Holiday Market, sip wine, cider, and other tasty treats at the Winter Wine Garden. There’s even a Vintage Automobile Display with classic motor cars from the Packards International Motor Car Club Southern California Division.
On
the day of the event, Saturday, November 13, you can pick up tour
passes at the ticket booth in the 200 block of Victoria Drive (between
19th Street and Santa Clara Avenue) in Santa Ana.
Proceeds from the tour support the Floral Park Scholarship Fund benefiting Santa Ana high school and college students. ,
Due
to the nature and vulnerability of vintage homes, guests must wear
soft-heeled shoes to protect flooring. No high heels will be allowed.
Visitors must be able to negotiate stairs. These are old homes and are
not handicapped-accessible. Pets, smoking, photography, video, food and
drinks are prohibited in the tour homes.
Historic
Floral Park is located south of the 5 Freeway in Santa Ana (downtown
Orange County) near the Discovery Cube and Bowers Museum. From Flower
Street, turn east on 19th Street. From Broadway, turn west on 19th
Street. From 17th Street, turn north on Flower Street and then east on
either 19th Street or Santa Clara Ave.
The cost for a single pre-sale ticket is $35. The online pre-sale period will now end on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Tickets are available here.
Update/TMI:
The AAA came yesterday and I bought a new battery. I am glad to have
it done. Today I will tackle some errands and take a load to the OLU thrift store to donate.
Jordan loaded three bags and a mirror into the back of my car last week, so I
just need to drive over between 11-1pm. I may get a "Rubio's fish taco especiale" on my way home, sounds good to me. A happy driver.
While I was waiting on the AAA man yesterday, I threw out a pile of award ribbons
from OC Fair, HBAL and a few others from years past.
Funny how that can seem important at the time, and ready for the trash now

I like the softness of this piece. Your color choices are great! :-)
Thanks, John. Th composition was so nice to begin with, all I did was add collage and color. Happy weekend!
How great that you can drive again. Being independent gives you so much more freedom and possibilities.
You had quite a lot of award ribbons. They might have been a motivation to go on, try hard, learn something new and never give up.
Happy Sunday!
