November 1st was Aunt Martha's birthday.

I love this picture of my Mom's second oldest sister, 

Martha, as a high school graduate.

And, this one of three of the families four teachers.

Originally ten children grew up on the Beatty farm.
Three of the boys died too early.

Aunt Martha dated Uncle Jerry. I remember he smoked a pipe.

They were married many years.

Uncle Russell, Aunt Fern, Aunt Pauline, Uncle Owen, Aunt Martha, Uncle Jerry, & Grandpa.

Aunt Martha was a master teacher her whole life, 

and later retired, and married Uncle Jewell.

Aunt Martha was a great lady, teacher, artist

with a wonderful sense of humor.

One of the very best ever, I think.  
I still miss her so.
