2GN2S ...

I love to watch Little League Baseball. Right now espn is featuring regional championships which will determine which teams will go to Williamsport, PA for the National and eventually International championships.

Today I watching Texas East team competing against the Oklahoma team. This division is for  typically boys, aged 10 to 12 years old. It is amazing to see the differences in boys this age. One little, terrific pitcher was 4"10" and one batter was 5"9", both 10-12.

Today there was an exceptional happening. As sometimes happens, a pitch goes off target, and in this case hit the batter on the head. After the initial shock of the hit, the batter was okay and took first base, as is the custom when a batter is hit.

As you will see in the video below, even after the hit batter had advanced to first base, the pitcher was still sorry and very emotional. The hit batter seeing this, went to the pitcher and gave him a hug. Enjoy.

Texting between the 3 Grandhunks and their Grandma is fairly often. I send them pictures of when they were little as I come across them, with the date so they can see how much they have grown, changed, and stayed the same. Like this ...

(L>R) Little Grandhunks, #3, #2 and #1, Maui, 2005

Sunday, a text from Grandhunk # 2

I probably answered ...
and on Monday afternoon ...

And so, Monday evening I ended up at the Grandhunk's house. GH#3, Zack picked me up while GH#2, Jake, fixed dinner and GH#4, Chris, helped with dinner.
Jake fixed steak and chicken, potatoes and a salad, and it was all delicious! I missed GH#1 as he was on was on EMT duty. After dinner they invited me to stay and watch a movie. Men In Black 3.

I did. GH#2 adopted a rescue kitty, Moola, so we became friends.

After the show, GH#2, Jake, drove me home after a really lovely evening with 3 handsome men and a cute little girl with very sharp nails. Thank you guys!

Blessed indeed.

Jacki, it's so wonderful to read how you care about the boys and much they care about you. That's true love. Thanks for sharing this lovely update.
Your digital collage again is fabulous. And the last smile is a good reminder of how blessed we are.

Thanks Elenor! I also worry that I add too much personal or family stuff, but many have said that is their favorite. Yes, we look at the Ukraine, and we know we are so blessed. We pray for them.
