Well I have had two outing in two days, and both were great. Saturday, good friend, Irene & I met at  2nd&PCH which is an outdoor mall in Long Beach. It was a lovely day. and we were there to celebrate Irene's birthday (11/7) belatedly and shop. This was our view from out table for lunch at Ole Mexican Kitchen.

Irene order a shrimp taco & carnitas taco, that she said was

Chef's version of Guacamole:with orange zest and
pomegranate seeds and chips of course.

And I had Baha fish tacos ...

It was a lovely day, leisurely shopping, eating, and more shopping. Special time, even a few hours with a dear friend is priceless. Do it as often as you can manage.

Sunday, Grandhunk #2, came over helped me two of my jobs. He has me make a list! It must be nice to be tall and reach everything and then smart to be able to follow tricky directions! He can do both. He was hungry so we shopped online to see what sounded good, he called B&B to see if there was a wait, there wasn't, so we went there.

... is a big, barn-like building filled with a jillion tv's, all on different channels and games. It's really loud, so we sat outside. They have a huge menu, HUGE!
We saw a funny site outside, there were about 12+ people all with small dogs. They were determined to get them all on the picnic-type table top for a photo. It was entertainment ...

You can see that some were happy to obey, some were being coaxed, and some couldn't care less? The human director tried hard. I guess they were a group of small dog
aficionados, from purse size to leash size.
I wish we had thought to take a picture of the parents during the dog photo session,
Then our food came, looking so good!

We had Asian cheeseburger egg rolls, boneless, spicy Asian wings, and Supreme pepperoni pizza and we shared everything ... so delicious. GH#2 (Jake) liked the Asian cheeseburger egg rolls best, I liked the pizza first, but all were so good. I love being with this guy and why I took photos of food when the big, handsome hunk was right in front of me? Am I losing it?

A 4+ minute video, Marbles?, here.

Jacki, I love how you used bits of junk mail with text to compose such an exciting collage. And you couldn't have found a better title!
To hear that you spent happy hours with a dear friend and GH#2 made me happy too. It's so important for us to be in nice company, isn't it?
