Saturday morning. Taking my time getting up for the day. Then I got a call from GH#3! I levitated out of bed. He said he would be over at 11AM, so I jumped into the shower, washed my hair and got ready. There were lots of hugs when he arrived. He hadn't had a lot of sleep because of driving over from LV to the OC last night, so he was in need of coffee, I don't have any, so we went to find Starbucks. We finally found a drive through and were 16+ in line.
GH#3 had an appointment for a haircut with the barber he has gone to since he was little. So we could see that he wouldn't Be able to make his appointment if we stayed in line. We got lunch and his coffee and came home. Zack had a lot of stops to make, and he will drive back tomorrow afternoon at 2 PM. Made my day.

Hi Jacki,
Thank you for posting this blog. Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Amazing how many different ways humans can do something. (I certainly think they picked the correct one.) When the Getty up near UCLA first opened, they had a section with all the models that were presented for the building competition. The next time I went, I was looking forward to showing them to my guests. But they had been removed! Well, life does need some disappointments, doesn't it? Love that your grandsons are so fond of you. Just hoping that mine will treat me this way when they are older. I have seen that drawing before but it is always amazing to watch. Thank you and have a nice week.
What luck to see one of the grandkids no matter how long. It's the purest joy I can imagine.
Thank you Carrol! Starting tomorrow the blog will post an invitation to HBAL for Nov,1.Yes, I do feel lucky with my daughter, son and 3 Grandhunks, they are so kind and thoughtful.
Thank you, Elenoe. I know your weekend was special.
