Every year Genbu-Kai Karate-Do has an Awards Banquet.

Held at Angelo and Vinci's Ristorante in Fullerton. Always before Thanksgiving & the holiday rush, but in keeping with our thanks for Demura Sensei,

our Genbu-Kai organization, families & friends.

We have a glue that binds us, even when we are apart. On this evening together, we dress up & celebrate! Demura Sensei greets 150 black belts and guests. Of course everyone wants a picture with Demura Sensei. I took this of Sensei & Senpai Leo

A special thanks to Susan & Leo Nakamura

magically organized & decorated the event.

After dinner, dan awards for karate, kobudo and batto were awarded.  

 

There were raffle tickets for donated gifts. And, Demura Sensei thanked all couples with a rose for the ladies.
