This will be the story of a lady who ordered a
cashmere top & pants from China.

What could go wrong?
The attraction is slick photography and a reasonable price.
The drawback is very slow arrival time.
Typically, by the time it arrives, you have forgotten the order.

I had ordered size large even though I can wear a medium,
to allow for tinier Chinese sizes. The time comes to try on.
The pants fit but with no extra room, at all. Next, the top.
I was determined even though it seemed way too snug.
I pulled the long tunic into place and checked the mirror.
It was, in effect, a tourniquet. I started taking it off.
I need to mention both shoulders are destined for surgery.
The right, in particular, is painful, in need of cortisone. (1/16)
I pulled it 3/4 up but it was so tight, it was stuck.
A precarious situation, at best. I live alone, so no rescue in sight.
I finally called WonderWoman.  I said, "Hi, what are you doing"?

She said she and Superman were on their way to lunch.
I explained my dilemma and heard SM laughing.
They made a mercy detour, arriving in 15 minutes.
Luckily SM stayed in the car, as it was not a pretty sight.
Wonderwoman had me raise my arms and with
her WW strength pulled it up and over my head.
Freedom.

Todays cover art was done for Art Supply Warehouse, 2014.

journal daring for Wild Child.
I have a lot of journals but haven't done as much in the past year.
I do intend to correct that in 2020, doing at least a page a day.

It was for a promotion to sell papers at ASW. I used ASW papers.

I was given a 40x40" canvas free use of ASW handmade papers.

And three hours to create something that would sell papers.

ASW set up a tent to work under and chairs for spectators.

I used a standing easel on a very hot day in Westminster.

Using gel medium to adhere the paper layers to the canvas.

Close-ups:

Three hours later Wild Child was done.

If you are in ASW, it is hung on the right back wall.

This, for me, is a confusing time of year.

I get my days mixed up or interchanged.
Christmas is mostly over, some still to do.
It's the end of 2019 and 2020 just days away.
I read that I should take time to curl up and read.

I could. I have a book to finish and two new waiting.
But tonight I have put on the national dog show marathon.
Comforting to watch the beautifully groomed breeds.
I think they might have missed a good possibility.
How about a resued dog show as well, open to all.

I took a few photos of my granddogs this morning.
They love to sun on the patio couch.

Zoey & Laker

As usual, Zoey (1-1/2 years) likes and even poses for photos,
Laker (8-1/2 years) not so much.

Yesterday (here) I mentioned the 50th Anniversary trip,
an 8+ hour drive. A trip to remember. But they made it!

A dinner celebration at Javier's at the Aria Hotel.

Happy 50th Anniversary Hoda and Mike.
From your three sons and two daughters-in-law.

A special family celebration.
The oldest son, Tarek at home ill, was greatly missed.
A great picture of 50 years of marriage.
