 I love Cash Cab.
Over 13,000 cabs in NYC, but only one Cash Cab.

An Emmy-winning series airing 2005 - 2012, revived in 2017.
I watch nightly on the game show network, 11-12pm.

Hosted by stand-up comedian Ben Bailey
Unsuspecting passengers enter the cab & state their destination,
the ceiling lights & fanfare plays, and  rules given  ...

and they are asked "Do you want to play? They do.

Contestants answer trivia questions during their ride.
They rack up cash for correct answers, but ...

three wrong answers means "three strikes and you're out".
The cab pulls over and lets them out.

Help options include a Mobile Shout-Out (phone call)
a and Street Shout-Out (asking a stranger on the street).

When the cab is stopped at a light,  it becomes
a "red-light challenge". (my favorite)

Reaching their destination, they can leave with their earned cash,

or they can risk it all on a video bonus question. Double or nothing.

A right answer and their cash will be doubled,
a wrong answer leaves them with nothing but a cab ride.

Even though they know they are on camera,
they soon forget and become immersed in the competition.

"There are 13,000 cabs in New York City,
but there's only one that pays you!"

. . .

Part of my love of Cash Cab is catching glimpses of NYC.

In September 2016, was my first NYC visit.
Along with WW, Daughter #2, and her Mom, Carole.
We spent 5 terrific days seeing everything.
So watching nightly brings back great memories.

I am enjoying my new book ...

Has anyone out there read it?
Any suggestions?

A smile for Sunday ...
