Meet Wally, the emotional support alligator
A Philadelphia man, Joseph Henney, who goes by "Joie," pronounced like "Joe," lives in Jonestown, Pennsylvania, and has a rather interesting companion at his side: WallyGator, his emotional support alligator. Wally is seven years old, 5 1/2 feet long and has rows of razor sharp teeth.
Joseph Henney’s emotional support animal WallyGator goes with him almost everywhere, from the grocery store to walks in the park. They hug each other and sleep in the same bed. WallyGator is an alligator.
He took his emotional support alligator, Wally (from a rescue in York County) to a
local park where bystanders took photos and even picked &
pet him.
The two watch television together on the couch, and when Henney takes
him to the farmers market, WallyGator gives hugs to shoppers — as long
as they are okay with being that close to a 70-pound reptile with a
mouth full of razor-sharp teeth.
“Wally is definitely not your average crocodilian,”
said Henney, explaining that most people in his community are familiar
with his emotional support alligator.“He’s super sweet-natured.”
WallyGator has a following on TikTok and Instagram, and he made headlines Friday after Henney took him to Love Park in Philadelphia.

* If you don't like tennis, this will be TMI, just skip?
Val is safely home in the OC, but our watching of the US Open continued with the match between Jannik Sinner (21) of Italy and Carlos Alcaraz (19) of Spain
in an epic 5-setter to make US Open semifinals. Five hours plus of back and forth brilliance. It could have ended with either one winning, both so young and so closely matched.
The news says, "This was a match that would not end. Should not end, one might say. Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner,
two of the brightest young stars of men's tennis, traded shots of the
highest quality and countless momentum changes across five exciting sets
for 5 hours, 15 minutes ...
until Alcaraz finally won the last point at 2:50
a.m.
Meanwhile Val and I were texting back and forth.
Meanwhile in the Turks and Caicos,
their last full day and scenery ...

I love the sculptural look of this piece. It gives me a reference to Henri Moore. :-)
Gee, thanks, John! I love Henry Moore.
They have some of his beautiful pieces at the Norton Simon museum in Pasadena. They are so powerful just to stand near.
Have a great weekend!
What a wonderful time your daughter with husband have! It's nice to see all these pictures.

Thank you, Elenor. Yes they are just now home and happy to be home, and their dogs are so happy to have them home.
