2GN2S ...

The stars of the US Open...
competed in a "Tennis Plays for Peace" event for Ukraine relief ahead of the grand slam tournament.

Iga Swiatek and Rafael Nadal teamed up for an exhibition match.

Top names like Rafael Nadal, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff and John McEnroe (both pictured above) took to the court and raised more than $1.2 million

Elina Svitolina wants to use her platform to help Ukraine.

Svitolina was born in Odessa, a strategically important port city which has been blockaded by Russian forces since the invasion  She then moved to Kharkiv when she was 12 years old and says she felt helpless when watching the fierce fighting which has continued to rock the eastern city.

Aged 16, Svitolina left Ukraine to pursue her sporting ambitions but always had her country in her heart. She’s proud of her roots and smiles when recalling moments from her childhood that helped form such a strong bond with Ukraine.

All ticket revenue from the event went to the Global Giving's Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund. The players said it was their honor to participate in the effort. "For me to speak out is something that I always cherish," Gauff said. "I always said you can change the world with your racket."

Val and I did artwork today, using gelli plates. Four hours later we had each made at least twenty prints.
Then it was Serena time as we watched Serena ...

and her last match at the US Open.

Exhausting but so special!

The Superheroes and Sinclairs were flying to Turks and Caicos for a stationary week of relaxation. WonderWoman knows I love clouds, so she sent photos of the clouds from their flight.

Last message mentioned the two hour wait in customs.

To be continued.
