BANKSYLAND in OC

The first-ever Orange County Banksyland, an immersive touring exhibition arrives in Costa Mesa from January 27-29 from noon to 8 p.m.

It features more than 80 pieces and installations of the world's most infamous and elusive artist: BANKSY.

For the first time, view original and studio works, salvaged street artworks, and never-before-seen immersive installations at Costa Mesa's Westside Museum. Experience the mystique and cultural impact of the most sought-after artist of our time, live in person. Tickets, here. Video, here.

In researching this event, I found Banksy has made his feelings clear about unauthorized exhibits like “The Art of Banksy” through Pest Control, a Banksy-affiliated website. “Banksy has NOTHING to do with any of the current or recent exhibitions, and they are nothing like a genuine Banksy show,” reads a statement from the artist.

A quick one today. I look at this with amazement.

I can not even imagine how difficult a job Zelinsky has day to day, 24 hours, 7 days a week. How does he even sleep? Pure exhaustion most likely. He really has my admiration. Another good word for him is determination. He represents the strength of his countrymen and women. :-)

Yes, I agree, John. Did you kno that they move his wife and children almost daily to try to keep them safe? On top of all his worries.

This picture of the huge wave is breathtaking!
I especially liked the last smile.
Have a great new week, Jacki!
