2GN2S ...

This is the kind of weather that we might get in a year and we have condensed it down just into two weeks.

California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis, issuing a statement Wednesday as storms continued to batter the state. "The storms have killed at least 18 people, officials said. Millions of residents remain under flood watches with additional storms forecast to come onshore in the coming days. According to the National Weather Service, another 5 to 10 inches of rain are expected in Northern California through the weekend, while excessive rainfall is predicted for central and southern cities."

The population of the earth is around 7+ billion. For most people, that is a large figure. However if we condensed7.8 billion into 100 persons, the resulting analysis is much easier to comprehend.

11 are in Europe,  5 are in North America

9 are in South America, 15 are in Africa

I'm in the privileged lot of less than 7%. If this in't a convincing reason to be grateful I don't know one. Of course life isn't always easy for these 7% but what is it like for the other 93%? Just let me say THANKS!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend without any troubles caused by this crazy weather.

Hi Jacki,

Loved the graphic. Liked the first one with the thicker line on the left side a bit better. I screen captured the statistics onn 100 people. I had the same info back a few years ago and it will be fun to see if it had changed.

Keep them coming, please.

Thanks Elenor, Yes, I thought the statistics were amazing. Happy weekend.

Thanks Carrol, The statistic may be a little off because I am pretty sure I read that we're at 8 billion?? Amazing to think about, this round planet whirling around, with us like ants, somehow holding on and doing out things that we think are so important.
