Didja survive the holidays?  Didja?

Our family met at the house on the hill
on a cool beautiful Christmas day.

Some of the things you would have seen if you had joined us.

We were thirteen today, and feeling blessed to be together.

There was great food.
WonderWoman made her traditional fare,
her Aunt Nancy's crunchy top ham and potato casserole.
And Aunt Juanita's breakfast casserole with cheese and sausage.
Both are family favorites. Recipes were in the family cookbook
compiled by cousin, Paul Murray years ago.
Superman made Fool, a fresh tomatoes and fava beans,
white onions and lemon juice, a special Lebanese dish.
Hoda made her delicious fruit salad.
Lauren made her special cinnamon rolls.
My assignment was orange juice, hard to mess that up.
After a delicious meal we opened gifts.

A wonderful Christmas Day, 2018.

A smile for Wednesday ...
