Working on a 30 x 40" canvas, professional standing easels,

A quick demo of graphite of methods of working on the canvas.
We had two working on their first canvas,
and Linda's first painting ever.

Some of us didn't finish in class, but what a great start!
Susan worked primarily in collage from the start.

Susan also brought a big canvas from a previous
Big Canvas class, and changed it completely.

I hope you can tell we had fun?
Six uninterrupted hours away from the holiday rush
devoted to playing and having fun .,,  and a lunch break.

Off and on I worked on the demo canvas, Two Sisters,
and at one point I decided I didn't like the older sister,
so I demonstrated how we can gesso out and start again.

The demo canvas is also still a work in progress,
I hope to use it as a step-by-step here in the future.

A smile for Sunday ...
