In 1988, Dawn set up a birthday club called “Leap Year Babies Limited, The Limited Edition to the Human Race.” She contacted as many radio stations as she could in her hometown of Los Angeles, sat down for a few interviews, and invited Leap Day Babies to come to her house for a communal birthday party. Four people showed up that year—a symbolic number, she noted—though the club would eventually grow to include more than 12,000 members in 126 countries.

I am starting off my day with Good Stuff... reading your blog. I enjoyed everything, the patchwork collage, the article on leap year birthdays (I have a friend who has a birthday this year!), the piano player, the birds and the laughs. Well, you get the picture. Thanks Jack , for your daily efforts to connect and make us feel good.
Thnk you, Irene, for you kind words that help me so much. Hope you are well , warm and dry.;o)
Hi Jacki. Did you ever do quilting? I think maybe not but not sure why I think that way. I had knee replacement surgery on Monday. So am home recuperating. So lucky me I get to catch up on what you have been creating.:-). Always a pleasure.
No, not me because of my patience deficiency but my Mom and her Mom were members of a quilting group called Willing Workers.
