Genbu Kai's Annual Awards Banquet 2018

always a special night.

Angelo & Vinci's, Fullerton, CA

Always at Angelo & Vinci's iconic restaurant in Fullerton,
before Thanksgiving & the holiday rush,

but in keeping with our thanks for Demura Sensei,

our Genbu-Kai organization, families & friends gather.

We have a glue that binds us, even when we are apart.

We are a big happy dressed up family!

I apologize that I didn't catch everyone.

magically organized & decorated the event.
The evening was hosted by Senpai David Hines.
Honoring Demura Sensei's 70th year in Karate.
Dan awards for karate, kobudo and batto were presented.
There were raffle tickets for donated gifts. 
And, Demura Sensei thanked all the ladies with a rose.

Sometimes it's hard for me to get Demurs Sensei 

to smile for the camera, so I get Mei's help.
