"Heddy & Bea": altered 1940 photograph |
This is an old family photo from 1940.
It has my Aunt Bea (Dad's cousin) and her Mom,
Aunt Heddy (Dad's Aunt) in California from Indiana.
It was the first time they stepped in the Pacifiic Ocean.
I don't know who took the photo, but I love it.

Still celebrating!
You get to do that when you turn 21.
Back here I mentioned some earlier celebrating
for Grandhunk #1, but the story continues.
Wednesday evening all three Grandhunks got off work
and joined their Dad for a guys night & trip into LA.

Then to Staples Center ...
for the Laker game. Cool, huh?
But that's not the end of celebrating ...
Getting a day off work GH #1 and best friend James (also 21),
WonderWoman & Superman all flew to Las Vegas.

It's only an hour flight, but sleep is in order
since there won't be much tonight.

Jordan's first time in Vegas, James was 21 in August,

Dinner at Tao
The 21 year olds have to work Saturday evening!
Ahhh youth!
Puppy update:
I am at the house on the hill overnight ...
4:45 pm almost sunset |
We had heavy winds today, complicating the terrible fires
70 miles away. Zoey doesn't like the winds, and stayed close.
I caught Laker and Zoey at rest. A rare thing for Zoey.
