Day 2.

A nice quiet day. I slept in, WonderWoman went to work at her office at the church. I had a lovely salad for lunch and enjoyed playing with the granddogs, then a late afternoon nap. I had ordered two books from Amazon last night, one to be delivered today and one tomorrow. 

We had a family dinner at 6pm. SM & WW, Jordan & Raquel, Tina & Larry (Raquel's parents and the Superheroes best friends) Zack and I sat around the table to eat, anxious to hear how Jordan's 2nd day at Fire Academy went. We could see he was exhausted but he patiently gave a synopsis of another rough day, knowing he would face another tomorrow. Then we were on to other subjects, I can't remember what subjects but I do remember laughing, a lot! Tina had brought a selection of desserts, I had a key lime pie tart, but took no photos? Later I started on my new book, Nightingale, and am 48 pages in, so far with another 550 to go. More news tomorrow.

Unlike other tree-dwelling monkeys that eat mostly leaves, Guenons have a much more varied diet. It includes leaves, fruits, seeds, insects, certain reptiles, and, on occasion, small mammals.
