REGISTRATION: $45 per session. Ages 16+. Skill level: All.
Limited seats are available for these classes, so sign up today!
In last Thursday's class, the class worked on a 12x12"
wood substrate as seen in Day 2758, here.
As usual, we start class with a warm-up activity.
This time it was a quick portrait on 12x18" heavy paper.
I did a 5-minute demo using both gesso & graphite on
brick-colored paper, using a long-handled medium 1" brush.
I mixed a skin tone acrylic, letting the paper show through.
Not pretty, but fun and it was loose and had promise.
No need to finish then, as we moved to the wood.
Thursday (02/20/2020)we will be working on 16 x 16" canvas.
My goal is always a relaxed, fun class for the artists.

Yeah, the best news I've had in a while. Be safe. Rest up.
I love the feel of this piece. Asian, of course....just think how successful you are at creating something with such a feel out of junk mail. Fantastic! :-)
Thanks so much, John.
You are always so kind to me.
