Valerie discovered a great find and
we made it to the last studio demo ...

Lisa Congden well known Portland artist and illustrator,
was Artist in Residence for two weeks at Fullerton College.
Local public community college, with the largest art department
of any community college in California.

We went to studio 1023 where Lisa was working on a large canvas.

Campus printmaking professor introduced Lisa and to his and other classes, where over the four days she demonstrated and taught 800 students.
Lisa offered a wealth of information on  both the creative process and the business side of art. Wonderfully accessible and anxious to answer their questions about their future in an art community.

She projected her process and past works on screen as she spoke.

Lisa shared her list of artists who influenced  her work.
And, her Instagram post of her eraser collection which went viral. (R)
