Even though I have contacted insurance, HOA, plumber & restoration I still have a drip from the saturated, hallway ceilingbut the hallway is accessible with only one beach towel, so tiny progress.
I live in a ground floor condo. There are two condos above me, their units meet above mine, so one of them had serious plumbing issues. It looks like they will have to replace the ceiling, and plumbing and restoration are expensive. I have a $500 deductible which I don't plan on using, since I didn't cause the water falling down on me. On the other hand, I remind myself that this, like almost everything, could be worse. It could have been in my bedroom. ;op TMI.

Jacki, so sorry to hear your trouble aren't fixed yet.
But I loved your great collage, the story about the safety pin - who knew it is that old? I have many of them in use - and especially the last smile. It's so true!

Thank you, Elenor. Yes, the hallway is going to be a long time to fix since the ceiling is soaked and still dripping, just one pan & towel now.
