Still behind and working on postcards when I can.

step 1

When drawing with an permanent ink brush
I often make mistakes which stay and I try to work around.

step 2

Adding watercolor skin tone visually softens some of the mistakes.

step 3

More watercolor for background,

step 4

and more watercolor for the hair, even though it may be covered,
it gives me an idea of the hair shape I want to use.

step5

About 15 torn pieces of test for the hair.

step 6

A bit of scribble and lines. Maybe okay, maybe not.
The initial mistakes are
still there, but hopefully less obvious?

I had another big day on Father's Day.
Super Dad, Superman drove WonderWoman, Grandhunks 1 & 3
and I to church at Eastside. A wonderful service & message.

A smile for Monday ...

A 65 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to
the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near
death  experience. Seeing God, she asked "Is my time up?"

God said, "No, you have another 33 years,
2 months and 8 days to live."

Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants, and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change

her hair color & brighten her teeth! Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might
as well make the most of it.

After her last operation, she was released from the
hospital. While crossing the street on her way home,
she was struck by a bus and killed.

Arriving in front of God, she demanded,
"I thought you said I had another 33 years?
Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the bus?"

God replied:

“I didn't recognize you!"
