Naomi Osaka Will Skip French Open, Citing Injury and Timing.

Fresh off her stirring run to the U.S. Open title last week, Osaka has announced that because of a lingering hamstring injury she will not play the French Open, which is set to begin in Paris on Sept. 27.

“My hamstring is still sore so I won’t have enough time to prepare for the clay — these 2 tournaments came too close to each other for me this time,” Ms. Osaka, 22, wrote in a message posted on Twitter late Thursday night. “I wish the organizers and players all the best.”

But there is always Rafael Nadal to cheer for at the French Open.
It is important to have heroes to look forward to following.

Did you watch the Dodger game Thursday night?
The empty stands were partially filled with people cut-outs.
"The Dodgers are taking the field on July 23rd
and you can be here too…but in cutout form!

Fan cutouts are available in the Dugout Club
or the new Pavilion Home Run Seats for $299 and
in the Field Level or Loge Level locations for $149.
Plus, you will get the chance to take your cutout home
at the end of the season, which will also be authenticated
as game-used by Major League Baseball!
Pick up information will be communicated
at the conclusion of the 2020 season.

JUST ADDED! Your pup now has a chance to be
part of the action with PUPS AT THE PARK.
This newly added section will be on the Loge Level

(sections 143-145) for only $149.
See your dog in the stands, cheering the Dodgers to victory!
Net proceeds from the fan cutouts will benefit the
Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation" More info, here.
* I was thinking these cut out may become popular
for zoom meetings and the like? Just sayin'.

The last two have been super good days.
I haven't said that too often lately. How about you?
I had a 9:30 zoom meeting with Eastside, lovely faces & smiles.
I made my first trip to Costco in three months, and it was easy.

Masks, of course, each cart wart was sprayed after use,
bigger isles, more streamlined. Smooth flow.
In and out in less than an hour and relieved of $$$.
Then Grandhunk #1 put up my new blue umbrella.

And, GH#2's best friend, Garrett Mitchell just got
first-round drafted to the Milwaukee Brewers.
You might have heard them celebrating at their watch party.

 The art of gratitude

We can’t get enough of these incredible balloon figures created by 22-year-old New Jersey balloon artist Eddie Lin. (Seriously, if you have time, click on the story link to behold even more of his creations
here.). Lin, who has autism, is using his “awesome” talent to craft elaborate sculptures in honor of essential workers.
