I received this surprise email yesterday! Wow?
It's from Dorothy Anderson in Washington.
She is an amazing woman, intelligent, artistic, wise,
kind, and I treasure her friendship.

I am humbled, flattered and honored that she would
take her valuable time to make this for me.
Thank you so, so much dear Dorothy.

Soooo... I got the answer wrong!
I am now keeping my word and posting this picture selected
by Jim Eyre! I'm challenging my friends who are logical and smart thinkers, to have a crack at guessing the answer to the riddle below. When you think you know, Private message me the answer.
If you are not going to follow the instructions after you lose,
don’t bother playing.
Your turn! Read the riddle. If your answer is incorrect, I can choose any of your photos and you have to post it along with the riddle. If you answer correctly, I'll put your name in the comments & trophy. Note: It’s not what you think. So far, no one has got it.

Too Good Not to Share/2GN2S:

Look Up!

A Rare Full Flower Blue Moon Is Happening This Weekend

May is going to continue the streak of 2019's lunar events with a Full Flower Moon or Seasonal Blue Moon. Here's everything you need to know about this astrological phenomenon, including how the Blue Moon got its name and how to see the Full Flower Moon.

May’s Flower Moon officially turns full on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 5:11 p.m. ET. Your best chance of catching it is later that night, when the sun has set and the moon will still be high in the sky. Thanks Linda.

"Urgent C – A Shabby Chic Art Journaling"
February 6, 7, and 8, 2018

An art journey where we meander through
the world of mixed media with artist John Nelson Arbuckle.
We are exploring a myriad of mixed-media & collage techniques. In just three days we are creating a complete, amazing shabby chic journal using paper, gesso, a variety of paints, ephemera, inks, recyclable materials & more. With John, we are guaranteed to find and express our story in a  community of eager artists.

We learned new techniques and used recycled & new products.

Making pages and pages to later add to further ...

John guides us with so many skillful demonstrations
showing the many options & possibilities.

These pages & more will become background
pages in my shabby chic journal.

Before I left, Kitty came to inspect, sit & walk on my pages.

No harm, no foul. Six more hours tomorrow.
I will post more soon.

How To Look At Art Like You Know What You're Doing!

by Maritsa Patrinos

1. Approach the art slowly.

2. Face it head on.

3. Strike a contemplative pose.

4. Don't take pictures, that's amateur hour.

5. Don't speak while looking at the art,

you want people to think you're concentrating hard.

6. Shift your weight routinely to let people know

you're getting comfy for a good long look.

7. Appear invested in the art by leaning in to the more intricate parts.

8. Squint your eyes.

9. Tilt your head.

10. Stand back and make brush stroke motions in the air

as if you are contemplating how you would paint this.

11. Unexpectedly sigh longingly or chuckle audibly

as if you've made some deep connection with the art.

12. After an appropriate amount of time has passed, nod approvingly.

13. You may now leave the art slowly.

14. Maintain one last long look as you go.

15. Move on to the next art.

Repeat until you've sufficiently looked at all the arts.
