I have received some beautiful photos from good friend and Austrian artist, Elenor. This is always a treat. Like a mini-vacation? She and her family went to Vienna for a  bathing day to the "Old Danube".

Thank you Elenor for sharing with us, you are so kind.

Another rabbit hole to go down, a new discovery for me ...

It's about the waves of Chicama, the undisputed longest and most perfect wave in the world. The longest surfable left wave in the world, pictured in front of a spectacular sandy beach, ends by the old sugar cane port, built almost 100 years ago. Today Chicama is home to fisherman, refuge of perfect waves, nature and relax for its visitors, and an unbeatable base to visit the historical surroundings, due to its location along the Moche Route.

Thanks, Jacki for sharing my poor pics. I hope everyone got an impression how great this place is in the middle of a 2 million inhabitant town.

Wow! 2 million! Yes, we are lucky when our forbears thought to utilize nature for our benefit.
