Today WonderWoman called to say she was bringing groceries.

She arrived at 11 am with 2 bags, flowers & Granghunk #3.

Take-out food from Shin Sen Gumi, one of my favorites,
and homemade banana bread (1/3 gone as I write.)
Then we three walked around the complex,
they know how to get me to walk.
We talked and virtual hugs from a safe distance.
WW had GH#3 wear a mask and gloves.

The first Saturday of May, is Tustin Historical Home Tour.
It's an annual May tradition in our little town.

It's a walking tour of mostly older homes on unusually large lots.

In one of the back yards, I met "Emily"? An emu!

I was captivated.

Emily was merely curious, maybe I had food?

Then pensive, as she was pretty sure I didn't have food.

Not known for moderation, I shot continually,
from every angle,  like the paparazzi with a diva.

And then it was done.

Posing was done, I was dismissed.

Save that Date!
Saturday, May 5, 2018, 10 am to 3 pm
Tustin 22nd Annual Home & Garden Tour.
Tickets available online here.

Another great, cloudless, sunny Saturday in SoCal
& we are off to the Brewery!

The creation of the Brewery Arts Complex began in 1982

at the old site of the Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery.

With the passing of the Artist-In-Residence code,
artists rent live/work space in industrially zoned buildings.
Only rented to artists & is the "world's largest art complex."
These are true lofts, not apartments, in industrial buildings
that are a part of  a unique & creative community.

The Brewery ArtWalk is a bi-annual open studio weekend.
 With over 100 participating resident/artists,
to see new works, discover favorites, speak with the artists
& purchase artwork directly from the artists' studios.
ArtWalks takes place in the Spring and Fall, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
Admission & parking are free & dine at the on-site restaurant.
